These DIY projects for the bathroom will give you lots of value while keeping you on a low budget. You can do so many things, so let’s get started right away!
Change Your Accessories
Your bathroom accessories include towel racks and rings, toilet paper holders and bathrobe hooks. For a quick and easy DIY, go to your local hardware store and pick out a new style for your bathroom.
Change Your Handles
You can give your bathroom a quick and fun facelift by changing the handles on your bathroom cabinets! Between knobs and pulls and handles, the options are truly limitless. You can match everything or use an eclectic mix of metals, ceramics, or glass. Trust us; this one is enjoyable.
Paint Your Bathroom
Nothing makes the most impact on a budget like a fresh coat of paint! Many bathrooms are painted in neutrals, but why not try something completely different? Is something bold, rich, or even dark? Pick up some paint chips and start imagining a different space!
Paint The Cabinet
Ok, so maybe you’re not ready for drama on your walls, but how about a dramatic new look for your bathroom cabinet? A coat of paint on the cabinet is easy to DIY. Make sure it’s appropriately prepped with sanding and/or primer!
Change the Light Fixture
We are big fans of light fixtures here at Elegant Bathrooms, so you know we will recommend changing the light fixture as a DIY project! This might cost you a bit more, but it’s worth investing in as fixtures last a long time, and a little more money can get you a lot more style!
Change Your Shower Curtain
This is one of the easiest DIYs you can do, but it certainly makes a significant impact! Pick out a new shower curtain for your bathroom and transform it completely! You can go with solids, patterns, and florals – again, the options are limitless.
Change a Mirror and/or Hang a Picture
Mirrors and pictures are a great way to step up the decor in your bathroom. You can’t go wrong with a mirror with a beautiful frame or a great art print. Either of these will make your bathroom look truly elegant!
Big DIYs
The DIYs we already mentioned can work for anyone, but some projects require more skill. We still recommend them, but we would be happy to make them happen for you if they are outside of your comfort zone! Projects like:
